Blocking and Unblocking of EWB generation facility in EWB Portal 

What to do if your e-Way bill generation is blocked due not filing Returns or due to Tax defaults ?

Well Here's the Answer - If you are Stuck with blocked Eway Bill Generation Facility at the EWB Portal . 

The users will be alerted while generating e-waybills in case the entered GSTIN has not filed the Returns for the past 2 previous months as this GST Number will be blocked for generation of e-way bills .  On filing of the GSTR-3B Return in the GST  Portal, the blocked status of eway bill facility will get automatically updated as ‘Unblock’ within a few hours in the e-waybill system. However, if in case the status is not updated in e-way bill system, then the taxpayer out the following step to Unblock the GSTIN Manually at E-way Bill Portal

1. Go to the e-waybill portal.
2. Go to the option Search Bar 
3. Click on Update Block Status . 
4. Enter the GSTIN and click on ‘Update GSTIN from Common Portal’.
